🚨HEARTBREAKING: The late Dr. Jamal Naim, former Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry in Gaza and one of its most respected dental academics, was critically injured after an Israeli airstrike targeted his home, killing his three daughters two of them dentists along with his three grandchildren and his elderly mother. Despite his own injuries, he spent his final days searching for the body of his daughter, Dr. Shaimaa, whose remains were never recovered after the blast. He continued pleading for help to find her beneath the rubble until the day he died.
Quoting: @gazanotice — (Gaza Notifications) 🚨Today, Gaza bids farewell to Dr. Jamal Naim , one of its most respected dentists, academics, and mentors. A former Dean of Dentistry at the University of Palestine, founder of Gaza’s largest dental center, and a graduate of Germany specializing in oral surgery and orthodontics, he dedicated his life to serving his people despite countless opportunities abroad. But the war took from him what no one can replace. An Israeli airstrike on his family’s shelter in Deir al-Balah killed three of his daughters two of them among Gaza’s most promising young dentists ,along with his daughter, his three grandchildren, the youngest only four months old, and his mother. The loss shattered him. Day after day, he mourned them publicly, sharing their memories and grief with the world. Even during his two year battle with cancer, his greatest hope was to recover and return to Gaza to continue serving the community he loved. Today, he joins the family he never stopped mourning.

The Trump administration approved three new “forever chemical”-based pesticides last week for use on food crops, including corn and soybeans — the most widely grown crops in the country — as well as wheat, kiwi, oats, peas, broccoli and coffee. These new chemicals — diflufenican, epyrifenacil, trifludimoxazin — have all been quietly approved without a standard press release. Trump approved other PFAS-based pesticides cyclobutrifluram and isocycloseram earlier this year, and the first food use of chlormequat — which is already found in 90% of Americans’ blood. An EPA scientist wrote in the approval documents that at least one of these new PFAS-based pesticides is “suggestive evidence of carcinogenic potential.” These approvals come just days after the Supreme Court sided with chemical maker Bayer and the Trump administration in limiting Americans’ ability to sue pesticide companies for harms linked to pesticides. Now, Americans will have a harder time holding companies accountable for the cancer-causing effects of their pesticides.

💢 The death toll from Israeli attacks increased by 4 Palestinians in Gaza on Saturday, as Israel pressed its continued violations of the ceasefire, Maan reported, citing medical sources. 🔸 Hudhayfa Hussein al-Hawajri was killed and 4 others wounded in an Israeli strike on a gathering of people near the Abu Sharkh roundabout, west of the Jabalia camp in northern Gaza. 🔸 Mohammed Najib Ashour was killed and others wounded earlier in a drone strike on a group of people on al-Muraja Street, near the Asqoula junction, southeast of Gaza City. 🔸 The bodies of two men missing since Thursday were recovered from Beit Lahiya in the north: Bilal Hussein Khamis Abu Rabih, 46, a strawberry farmer, and Hamza Imad Jihad Hamdouna, 20. A third man remains missing. Israel has continued near-daily attacks in Gaza despite the ceasefire that took effect in October, with more than 1,050 Palestinians killed since the truce began.

🚨URGENT: Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya’s life is in immediate danger, Physicians for Human Rights Israel and his lawyer warned Saturday, after a prison visit revealed the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital bearing fresh, severe injuries to his head, eyes, ears, and neck, so disfigured his own attorney initially struggled to recognize him. 🔹Attorney Nasser Odeh, who saw Abu Safiya Thursday at the underground Rakefet interrogation facility in Nitzan Prison, said he arrived shackled hand and foot, escorted by masked guards, struggling to breathe and speak, unable to sit upright, and repeatedly on the verge of losing consciousness. 🔹Abu Safiya told him that after his Supreme Court appeal was heard June 10, four or five guards entered his solitary cell at Ganot Prison and beat him with a hammer and batons, and that since his June 24 transfer to Rakefet he has been beaten daily, losing consciousness several times without receiving medical treatment. 🔹“This is the last time you will see me,” he told his lawyer. “They brought me here to kill me. I don’t see myself surviving. This is the end.” 🔹PHRI notes the escalation in torture began directly after Abu Safiya challenged his detention in court. He has been held without charge since December 27, 2024, under Israel’s Unlawful Combatants Law. 🔹The group has appealed to Israel’s attorney general and prison service demanding his immediate transfer, an independent medical examination, and an urgent judicial visit “before it is too late.” Photo: Amnesty International

"Afghanistan was a significant recipient of USAID food and humanitarian assistance before the agency was dismantled. In 2024, the US was the source of 43% of all international humanitarian funding to Afghanistan, and the US had also been the largest funder of the World Food Program overall, contributing $4.5 billion of the $9.8 billion in donations to the world's largest food aid provider that year. When DOGE moved to shut down USAID in early 2025, Afghanistan was hit hard by the cuts. Officials estimated $560 million in humanitarian aid has been cut, including for emergency food assistance, treatment of malnourished babies, medical care, safe drinking water and mental health treatment for survivors of sexual and physical violence. A WFP assessment found that food assistance to 2 million people in Afghanistan would be terminated, with more than 650,000 malnourished children, mothers and pregnant women losing nutritional support."

After the destruction of tourist resorts, water parks, and homes in Gaza, the children who survived the war found themselves in tents that offer no protection from the intense summer heat. Inside these tents, the bodies suffocate under the unbearable temperature, forcing them to step outside in search of any relief. There is no electricity and no means of cooling, nothing to ease the harshness. They gather whatever little water is available to create makeshift pools on the ground, then sit or dive into them to cool down their exhausted bodies, in a scene that reflects a harsh reality with no real choices or alternatives.

Iceland has now killed at least 11 fin whales this summer, the second-largest animal on Earth, for meat almost no one eats. After two years without a hunt, commercial whaling resumed in June. The season’s quota is up to 150 fin whales, a vulnerable species that has still not recovered from a century of commercial whaling. One of the whales killed was a pregnant mother, along with her unborn calf. The deaths are rarely quick. Iceland’s Food and Veterinary Authority (MAST) documented one whale taking 31 minutes to die after being struck by four exploding harpoons. Previous investigations have also found whales taking up to two hours to die. And it’s for almost nothing. Icelanders rarely eat fin whale. Most of the meat is exported to Japan, where much of it remains frozen and unsold. Whale watching generates far more value for Iceland’s economy than whaling ever has. The Icelandic government has pledged to introduce legislation to end commercial whaling, but this season’s hunt is still going ahead. ⛪️ The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA), representing the U.S.’s largest Presbyterian denomination, voted 454-15 Tuesday to identify Israel’s war on Gaza as a genocide, to lobby Congress for an arms embargo, and to encourage members to boycott Israeli products tied to the war. 🔹 A previous 447-21 vote affirmed the Kairos Palestine II statement calling for intensified boycott, divestment and sanctions efforts. 🔹A ranking member of the Church said that the Assembly had spoken “in a unified voice” against genocide and was similarly unified about “measures that will hopefully contribute to the liberation of Palestine.” 🔹The votes came after the church on Sunday unanimously voted to divest from Palantir and GE Aerospace, adding to earlier divestments from HP, Motorola, Caterpillar, and Israeli bonds, and after its 2022 declaration that Israel is an apartheid state.

Beef production is the single most destructive agricultural commodity to nature. It drives more deforestation, biodiversity loss, and greenhouse gas emissions than almost any other food system on the planet. Vast areas of tropical forests, especially in the Amazon and the Gran Chaco, are cleared every year for cattle pasture and feed crops. The land use footprint is enormous, water consumption is massive, and methane emissions are significant. While other commodities have environmental impacts, beef consistently ranks at the top for overall environmental impact per calorie or per gram of protein produced. This isn’t about shaming individual choices. It’s about facing the scale of the system we’ve built. Cattle ranching is responsible for around 41% of global deforestation and roughly 80% of deforestation in the Amazon. Beef also requires around 20 times more land per gram of protein than many plant-based alternatives. Livestock and the crops grown to feed them occupy nearly 80% of the world’s agricultural land while providing less than 20% of the world’s calories. Every hectare converted to pasture or feed crops is habitat that countless species lose forever. The food on our plates is directly connected to the future of the world’s remaining forests and the stability of our climate. Reducing beef consumption, especially beef produced through deforestation-intensive industrial systems, is one of the highest-impact actions we can take for nature.

🇸🇩 War-torn Sudan hit by deadly cholera outbreak At least 838 suspected cholera cases and 117 deaths have been reported in Sudan’s West Kordofan province, as the country’s civil war continues to cripple healthcare and humanitarian access. World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus confirmed the outbreak, citing data from Sudan’s Ministry of Health. He said the conflict has severely disrupted medical services and displaced communities, worsening the spread of the disease. Tedros added that fighting and roadblocks are hindering the delivery of humanitarian aid and preventing medical teams from reaching affected areas.
Quoting: @DrTedros — (Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus) #Sudan has declared a #cholera outbreak in West Kordofan state. The outbreak is unfolding amid the continued disruption of health services caused by conflict. Population displacement is making access to essential health care even more difficult. At the same time, insecurity and access constraints continue to delay the deployment of response teams and delivery of medical supplies and humanitarian assistance. @WHO is coordinating the health response with partners, scaling up cholera treatment centres and oral rehydration points, delivering cholera kits, installing handwashing stations, training chlorinators, hygiene promoters and health workers, and supporting community health education.

I don’t know whether the world is truly aware or is deliberately turning a blind eye to what is happening right now in Gaza. But this is exactly how they are planning the so called “New Gaza” they keep talking about. They want to impose oppressive camps inside the city, disguised as fake natural reserves, surrounded by harsh barbed wire that prevents anyone from leaving as if they are caging an entire population inside iron enclosures under the sky. This is the “future” they are planning: tightly sealed prisons, all under the name of reconstruction.

🚨 Israeli Plan to Herd Palestinians Into Controlled “Shelters” to Begin “Within A Matter of Weeks” 🔸Israel is preparing to channel Palestinians into fenced “humanitarian shelters” in areas outside Hamas’s control, policed by a foreign force, while its military deepens its occupation of the rest of Gaza, according to the pro-Netanyahu paper Israel Hayom, which reported the plan approvingly. 🔸Under the plan, unarmed civilians would be directed to a first zone in Tel al-Sultan, near Rafah, an area Drop Site has documented Israel systematically razing. 🔸A “multinational force” - the ISF - operating under the Trump administration’s “Board of Peace” would deploy there from a newly built base, equipped to police the zones, while the Israeli military “continues to maintain and deepen its hold” beyond the Yellow Line. 🔸 The camp/base for the force “has already been built,” and the Board of Peace has “begun identifying sites” for logistics warehouses, with the groundwork underway now, and deployment in the coming weeks. 🔸The paper described the effort as a “pincer movement”: the military seizing more territory as the population is siphoned into the controlled zones, in the hope that Hamas is left “without a population, territory or resources.” 🔸Officials said the areas would receive caravans and aid, but not the concrete needed to actually rebuild Gaza. ◽️The plan matches what Drop Site has previously exposed through leaked documents: a surveilled, checkpoint-controlled “planned community” in Rafah designed to force Palestinians into what amounts to an Israeli panopticon, tracked and screened as a condition of receiving aid. 🔸An Israeli political source told the paper the military would keep up “the pace of targeted killings while remaining below the threshold of international criticism… as long as Hamas is unwilling to disarm.” 📸 The buildup is already visible: the “Board of Peace” itself posted images of tactical vehicles arriving at a logistics base on June 30, matching the article’s account of preparations underway.

@MosabAbuToha The horror show continues and most people would rather not watch it but this is the reality- sadists continue their torture and murder and the world allows it by being silent, not condemning the barbarism and militaries protect the abusers instead of the victims.

You should feel ashamed to call yourselves journalists. There is nothing called “Palestinian-controlled” and “areas under israeli military control.” It’s all Palestinian lands OCCUPIED by Israel. Israel is an illegal occupation. And shame on you. This story is from June 15. TWO WEEKS AGO. Here are the details you need to know about the child and his father which I posted June 15. Israel opened fire on two civilians on the Salah Eddin St. east of Der el-Balah, killing a child and critically injuring his father. Immediately, Israel abducted the body of the child and the his bleeding father. The following day, israel released the body of the child and his wounded father. The boy was SHOT IN THE EYE. Israel and its terrorist forces released the body of a child after killing him and holding his body hostage for a few hours. The child’s name was Rayyan Abu al-Ajin.
Quoting: @NBCNews — (NBC News) A 3-year-old child was shot dead in Gaza according to his father, who says Israeli soldiers fired as they walked on a farm close to the "yellow line," which divides Palestinian-controlled parts of Gaza from areas under Israeli military control. The IDF says the details from the June 15 incident are under review. https://t.co/ssHtilrEAd

🚨 TRUMP’S FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE JUST DROPPED…AND IT’S WORSE THAN YOU THOUGHT. The U.S. Office of Government Ethics released Donald Trump’s 927-page financial disclosure today. Here’s what a sitting U.S. President made in 2025: 💰 $635 MILLION from the TRUMP memecoin, while retail investors watched it crash from $74 to $1.68 💰 $594 MILLION from World Liberty Financial token and stablecoin sales, a crypto venture co-founded with his own sons 💰 $65 MILLION from selling equity in that same company 💰 $80+ MILLION in media settlements from ABC, CBS, Meta, and YouTube, paid to his own presidential library Total crypto haul: over $1.4 BILLION. In one year. While serving as President of the United States. His net worth has nearly TRIPLED, from $2.4 billion to $6.3 billion, since taking office. And while Trump pocketed $1.4 billion from crypto, the everyday Americans who bought his memecoin? They lost. 764,000 wallets ended up in the red. This is the most corrupt presidency in American history. Period.
