🔴Update regarding airstrikes in Tyre and Nabatieh and assessment of the situation at Beaufort Castle. The significance of Beaufort Castle, heavily highlighted by international, local, and Israeli media, despite being located only about 4 km from the border, is being questioned by some observers. According to this view, after 15 months of extensive airstrikes, shelling, destruction, and military operations, as well as months of fighting with the resistance, Israeli forces eventually reached Beaufort Castle, a site situated less than 4 km from the border. The position was approached through areas already under Israeli control or influence, including Marjayoun, Qlayaa, Deir Mimas, and Kfar Kila. Supporters of this assessment argue that the castle itself is primarily a historical and archaeological site and was not used by the resistance as a defensive stronghold in order to avoid its destruction. Today is yet another 'Eid' for the Islamic world, and even in Western countries. But this time, they will engage in the most barbaric form of mass animal slaughter you've ever seen, and pretend it's actually a good thing. Children are often taken to these public slaughter houses or often backyards, where animals are gathered, and have their throats slit - left to bleed out in agonizing pain and die. There's no stunning, there's minimal hygiene, and the suffering inflicted on animals is key. In Australia, the government makes religious exemptions for this practice, and also avoid policing muslims who slaughter animals in their backyard for fear of being seen as 'discriminating'. In the UK, slaughter without stunning to accommodate muslims have grown exponentially, with 30 million animals going through this in 2024 alone. The same happens in the US. Ironically, even post slaughter safety conditions are given exemptions to accommodate muslims, allowing them to take the meat as soon as possible at unsafe, unhygienic temperatures. At every turn, accommodating this barbaric religion in our cities results in mass suffering. And this time, it's animals, and the complete discarding of animal welfare laws in these countries.
